The Branding Studio wants to ensure your merchandise looks perfect for every marketing project or brand campaign. To help achieve this, it is critical artwork is provided in the correct file format and resolution.

EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) files in a vector format is the best choice of graphics format for high resolution printing. This format allows us to produce your logo at any size without losing any clarity. This format is also suitable for all decorating and printing methods.

Suitable Artwork Formats

Please provide your artwork in one of the following formats:

  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
  • EPS (.eps)
  • Adobe PDF (.pdf)

Please note: All texts must be converted into outlines.  Saving a Jpeg file to an .eps file in Photoshop will not translate the logo to a vector file.  In this instance a logo redraw is required. Placed images need to be either embedded or supplied as separate files. Spot Colour printing or screen printing must have colours quoted as PMS Solid Coated Colours – CMYK colours are not acceptable for screen printing

Other Formats

.PDF files can sometimes be used depending on the originating artwork.  .PDF files originating in illustrator (.ai)  format are acceptable. Other .pdf files will need to be confirmed once supplied.

BMP, TIFF, JPG files or other Office based documents or programs are generally not suitable for print.  In these instances artwork will need to be redrawn.

BMP, TIFF, JPG files or other Office based documents or programs can sometimes be used for embroidery depending on the quality of image embedded in the document.  Image resolution must be 300dpi or above.

Redrawing files to the correct format

The Branding Studio has the facility to redraw files that are not suitable to work with. Please submit your artwork and we can give you a quote.

Fonts

All fonts must be converted to outlines.
